Brixham Art Society (B.A.S.) recognise that supporting diversity and engagement is not only the right thing to do but that it is the right thing to do for our Society, our Members, Associates, Guests, and is in support of our Society’s aims. We have a legal  duty under the Equality Act 2010 to ensure this is embraced.

 

 

     B.A.S. fully understand that our Society is stronger when we embrace the full spectrum of humanity, regardless of what we look like, where we come from or who we choose to love. That means building a more diverse, more inclusive Society and promoting wider engagement within the community. 

 

 

     Discrimination in any form, either directly or indirectly, including electronic communication towards any group or individual will not be tolerated.

 

 

     B.A.S. believes that each person has a role to play in supporting diversity and engagement. This may mean summoning the courage to stand up and speak out, sharing experiences, listening with patience, and in so doing creating a safe welcoming Society for all.
